Project Red Kyte brought together an interdisciplinary team of scientists and engineers at KP Labs and GSTS to optimize the deployment, benchmarking, and performance of three deep learning algorithms specialized in space applications. By using real-use cases, the experimental results were published in the open-access journal Remote Sensing, showing how state-of-the-art machine learning techniques can be benchmarked, compared, and tested end-to-end before deployment.
KP Labs Delivers Critical Computing Stack for GLOWS Photometer
KP Labs is developing the on-board Main Application Software for the GLOWS instrument, which will handle the telecommand and telemetry as well as the autonomous collection and archiving of scientific data. This robust autonomous software will also manage and supervise GLOWS’ hardware, support several operational modes, and interface with the IMAP operating system.
Leopard undergoes Environmental Testing before space voyage
The last few weeks were quite intense for our Intuition-1 mission as its core component went through a thorough environmental testing campaign. That is a good reason to briefly describe the entire process and stress its importance to the eventual success of the mission.
