Electronics Production Engineer
Ordering and supervising PCB assembly with EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) suppliers:
- Determining substitutes for electronic components
- Responding to engineering questions
- Verifying EMS suppliers
- Establishing and verifying procedures with EMS suppliers
Ordering and supervising PCB assembly on-site at KP Labs headquarters:
- Communicating with component suppliers
- Managing inventory levels
- Organizing the warehouse
- Ensuring equipment functionality, service timeliness, and calibration/standardization
Ordering PCB production:
- Responding to engineering inquiries
- Verifying the quality of completed PCBs
Testing PCB boards:
- Performing tests according to available procedures
- Co-developing PCB testing procedures
Other tasks:
- Co-developing and implementing the electronics laboratory development strategy
- Supervising PCB assembly, integration, and testing tasks (PCB AIT) at KP Labs and EMSs
- Collaborating with the AIVT team to integrate complex electronic devices
- Co-developing processes related to the production of space electronics
- Collaborating with R&D engineers in launching prototypes
- Reviewing designs before production
- Supervising repair orders following warranty claims
What we expect:
- Higher education (Electronics or related field)
- Experience in a similar area
Nice to have:
- SMT assembly skills
- Proficiency in English at a communicative level
